On Knighthood and Prayer

In times past, a candidate for Knighthood spent the eve before his Knighting in a church, in silent vigil, upon his knees, placing his sword and shield before the altar of the King of Kings, his Lord and his God.

Our sword is prayer, our shield our good works informed by faith. I ask you to watch and to pray, to learn your faith devoutly and practice it in holiness. Know that our enemy the Devil goes about roaring like a luion, seeking whom he might devour.

To aid you in your faith it is my happy privilege to instruct you in it herein and guide you to resources to assist you in learning your faith.
